When was the last time you checked the paper timetable at a bus stop in a big city?

For some of us, it might well have been before smartphones were invented.
Transport for London is hoping to make bus stop information more useful with solar-powered e-paper displays.
Currently placed at four London bus stops, these displays give you real-time information on arrivals, route info and general timetables.
Basically all the important information you want on your commute.
They come with the added bonus of adapting to changes easily while proving more environmentally-friendly than constantly printing out new displays.
And if your phone runs out of battery (taking your trusted transport app with it), you won’t be left stranded.
